When I was getting certified in the Emotion Code, one of the first animals I ever worked with was a horse. No one could ride him. He would buck off every single rider—no matter how experienced.
We did one session. Just 15 minutes. A week later, I got a message from the owner. She sent me a video of herself riding him. Calm. Connected. Completely changed.
That moment stayed with me. It wasn’t just about fixing a behavior. It was about freeing something that had been stuck for a long time—something this horse hadn’t been able to speak, but had carried in his body.
This is the power of energy healing. This is the power of the Emotion Code.
What Is the Emotion Code?
The Emotion Code is a energy healing modality developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson. It’s based on the principle that unresolved emotional energy can get trapped in the body—causing physical discomfort, behavioral changes, and emotional imbalances.
Animals feel deeply. Just like us, they experience grief, fear, loneliness, and confusion. But unlike us, they can’t talk about it. These emotions often get stored in their bodies and energy fields.
The Emotion Code uses muscle testing to identify and release those trapped emotions. It’s safe, simple, and incredibly effective—even when done remotely.
The Body Code takes it one step further. It helps identify and release not only trapped emotions but also energetic imbalances related to organs, systems, misalignments, toxins, and more.
Together, these tools support deep healing on a physical, emotional, and energetic level.
How Energy Healing Works for Animals
Working with animals is intuitive. They don't lie, overthink, or resist the process. They simply feel.
When I work with an animal, I use muscle testing using myself as a surrogate to connect with their energy field. We ask the body if there are any trapped emotions that are contributing to a symptom—whether it's anxiety, pain, fear, or a refusal to cooperate.
Once we identify the emotion, we release it using magnetic energy along the governing meridian. It takes seconds. And the shift is often immediate.
Animals don’t hold onto stories. Once the energy is released, they return to balance quickly.
What Energy Healing Can Help With
The Emotion Code and Body Code can support animals with:
- Anxiety or separation stress
- Aggression or uncharacteristic behavior
- Trauma from past experiences
- Fear of touch, sound, or people
- Lameness or unexplained physical symptoms
- Resistance to training
- Emotional shutdown after loss or rehoming
And more.
Sometimes it's a single trapped emotion. Other times, it's a layered story that takes a few sessions to unravel. But every time, we witness relief—on a nervous system level.
Another Story: Healing a Horse’s Leg
My sister is a horse trainer. One day she was trying to shoe a horse who refused to lift his back left leg. He wasn’t aggressive—he just wouldn’t move.
She had just learned how to use the Emotion Code. So, she decided to test the horse. Three trapped emotions came up—related to an injury that had happened a year earlier.
She released all three in one short session.
Right after that, he lifted his leg. No resistance. No fear. He let her shoe him as if nothing had ever happened.
That’s what it looks like when an animal lets go of old pain.
Why This Matters
Animals are deeply intuitive. They carry the weight of their experiences—just like we do. But they don't have the tools to process trauma the way we can.
Energy healing gives them that release. It gives them a voice.
When we help animals release trapped emotions, we’re not just treating symptoms. We’re restoring trust, safety, and natural ease in their bodies.
And because animals are such sensitive mirrors for their humans, their healing often ripples into the rest of the household.
How I Helped My Cat Balder with the Emotion Code
This work isn’t just for clients. I use it for the beings I love most—including my own cat, Balder.
He’s a Siberian Forest cat. Usually calm, grounded, and utterly majestic. But after he got into a fight and something shifted.
He didn’t want to go outside. He ran from window to window, peering out like he was being hunted. He slid across the floor in a constant state of tension. It was clear—he wasn’t just healing physically. He was holding onto fear.
I did session with him and released the trapped emotions connected to the incident.
Within days, he was back to himself. Curious. Playful. Lounging in the sun. Venturing outside again, with that regal, unbothered energy only cats seem to master.

What to Expect from a Session
Sessions can be done in person or remotely. Most of my animal clients are worked on remotely through a surrogate—either the owner or myself.
Here’s what’s needed:
- A recent photo of the animal
- Their name, age, and a short description of the issue
Most sessions take 15–30 minutes. Some animals yawn, stretch, or fall asleep. Others show results over the next few days.
The changes are often subtle—but powerful.
A Final Word
If your animal is showing signs of distress, stubborn behavior, or chronic issues that don’t seem to resolve… it might not be just physical.
It might be emotional.
And the Emotion Code can help.
This work is grounded, effective, and elegant in its simplicity. You don’t need to force change. You simply clear what’s in the way.
Let your animals feel safe again. Let them be free. Schedule your session today.
